The ACiQ R5H5S36AKAAA / FHMA5X36L0BA heat pump system has a capacity of 3 tons (36,000 BTU) and in an ideal climate, this tonnage will normally cover up to a medium sized house. The higher the SEER2 rating, the less electricity is needed to keep your house cool in the summer. Most new standard systems have a SEER2 rating of 14.3, while this system reaches 14.5 SEER2 - this high efficiency ensures you will save on utility bills with maximum comfort!
In some bundles, the air handler or coil associated with the condenser may be intentionally larger in tonnage to maintain the unit's overall efficiency. Efficiency ratings depend on how the system as a whole operates, and not just the condenser - all advertised ratings can be confirmed with the AHRI certificate in this listing.

The R5H5S features a field-install filter drier, plus a factory-installed relief valve and thermal overload switch -- protecting the unit from impurities in the refrigerant and other general wear and tear.
Each ACiQ heat pump condenser is 100% run-tested at the factory and pre-charged with R454B to ensure proper operation out of the box. Protective coatings on the fins and a dense wire coil guard give this unit a long life even in harsh conditions. Built with high-quality materials, enjoy reduced installation and maintenance costs along with consistent and exceptional home comfort.
FHMA5 Air Handling Unit (Indoor Unit)
The ACiQ FHMA5 utilizes a sturdy galvanized steel cabinet structure with a thick, vapor-resistant R-4.2 insulation barrier for quiet operation and a long life span. This, along with it's multi-positional nature - compatible with upflow, downflow **, or horizontal orientations - allows the FHMA5 to be easily installed almost anywhere it fits!
FHMA5 series air handlers lives up to ACiQ's comfort expectations with its multi-tap ECM motor, aluminum evaporator coil, and built-in TXV, which provides a more precise and efficient temperature control. Expect reduced maintenance costs with the improved filter rack (that requires no tools to access) and upgraded condensate pans that are tested to dispose of moisture in tougher conditions than required by AHRI regulation.

R5H5S series condensers and FHMA5 series air handlers both come backed by ACiQ's standard 10 year parts warranty with online registration through the manufacturer. An installation that follows your state and local codes is required for the warranty to be upheld.
